Set the key. Dial the tone.
Key and Scale lock the harmonic engine to your session. Amount, Character, Mix, Mid, and Side shape how much is generated and how it sits. Listen mode solos the harmonics so you can dial it in by ear.

Generate a harmonic series from your low end — locked to the key and scale of your track.
Enhancement, surgical sculpting, and analog-style limiting — each on its own page, with the scope always visible so you can see what you're doing.

Boost or cut each scale degree (I–VII) with per-band Q and Tune up to ±12 semitones. Live Hz readouts show exactly what each band is targeting. The Octave selector spans −3 to +5 — roughly 33 Hz to 15.8 kHz, with all seven degrees active at every setting. It starts centered on middle C (261.6 Hz).
Input gain, gain-reduction meter, ceiling, and output trim — plus a HARD/SOFT analog clip stage. Drive the harmonics hard and keep the mix intact.
Most harmonic exciters are key-blind — they add overtones wherever they land. HARMONIKZZZ builds them from your track's actual harmonic material.

It reads your low end and synthesises harmonics above it, tuned to the key and scale you set. The result is more presence and perceived weight on small speakers without adding sub energy. Works on bass, kick, 808s, and sub-heavy pads.
Yes — set KEY before anything else. Until you pick a key, the harmonic engine has no scale to build from and the Hz readouts show dashes. This is by design.
Every parameter is exposed to Live's automation and MIDI mapping, with proper modulation modes set. The README walks through mapping an LPD8 if you have one.

It's built for low-end sources — bass, kick, 808s, sub pads — but the engine doesn't care what you feed it. On full mixes, set FOCUS to Full Mix and keep Amount low for a gentle lift across the whole track.

The original HARMONIKZZZ device is available for free on maxforlive.com. HARMONIKZZZ PRO — what you're looking at right now — is the full upgraded version. It's built on the same engine but adds two extra pages: SCULPT — where you dial in per-note Q and Tune across all seven scale degrees, adjusting the exact frequency and width of each harmonic individually — and LIMITER, with a metered input gain, gain reduction display, and an analog-style HARD/SOFT clip stage. The link to the right takes you to the free original, not this product.
